Mark Harvey will be attending and delivering a talk at the Hothouse Sheffield photography event organised by Redeye The Photography Network. The event will be a day of celebration of photographic talent from Yorkshire and beyond. It will be held at the Roco Creative Coop, 342 Glossop Road, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, S10 2HW on 10 June 2017 from 10:30 to 16:30.
During the day there will be brief presentations from photographers about their recent work and projects, with opportunity for Q&A, networking and review of portfolios. Local photographers will also be able to bring their own portfolios and photobooks for display on the day.
Mark Harvey will be delivering a talk and Q&A session in the afternoon focusing mainly on his social issues work around homelessness, substance misuse, prison and protests. He will also talk about his voluntary work with the Cathedral Archer Project in Sheffield, a charity that provides support for the homeless and rough sleepers.
Doors for the event will be open at 10.00 and people can come for an hour or two or for the full day. The event is free however attendees MUST BOOK via the Redeye page.
Redeye, the Photography Network based in Manchester, is a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society set up to support photographers at every level, and build networks across photography.
